There was a stupid, giddy feeling coursing through him as he and Lara finally left the party and he handed the valet his ticket. It was like waiting for Christmas morning, only better. It was the sort of thing he hadn't experienced in a while and he had to be careful not to let it get to him. Casual flings were one thing, falling for anyone was definitely a bad idea. He was a private person for a good reason and part of him felt like Lara could crack him open like a nut if she wanted.
Fortunately, it seemed like Lara had other intentions with him, hence why they were leaving together. His actual date had taken in well, having found someone that shared her love of selfies and the Kimye wedding to enjoy the evening with.
"I just want you to know," Levi told Lara as the valet pulled his car around. "I'm not trying to impress you with my car. Clearly you're suitably impressed by my knowledge of the fact that there are over 25 million bubbles waiting to burst out of each bottle of Champagne that the car is just a very cool way to get home."
