Levi wasn't sure if Spencer would have actually wanted Levi to keep up that end of the offer but he appreciated the sentiment. There would probably always be an odd sort of tension between them but that was better than animosity. Hopefully it meant Spencer would cooperate.

"What did he tell you about why he was receiving them?" Levi asked. He already knew the story but it was always good to corroborate things. It often led to knew insights.
