"One day, I'll call you up and invite you somewhere that's not a police station," Levi said with a smile as he stood up to shake the man's hand.
He liked Spencer, he was a good man who had been dealt a pretty awful hand as of late. It would have been easy for him to become completely bitter and resentful but he hadn't and Levi admired that. Unfortunately, Spencer also seemed to find himself involved in all sorts of different troubles lately, albeit not all of it his fault.
"I'd have come met you somewhere else but unfortunately that wasn't an option. This will probably go quickly though and I think you already know what you're here to talk about."
